IMPERIAL MAMMOTH:

The Mammoth bones came from Wolf Creek.  The archaeology and artifacts are very fragile, so please, do not touch.  They were found around Lake Fryer and Wolf Creek.  The Imperial Mammoth was the largest of all the mammoths.  It stood at least 4 meters (14 feet) at the shoulder, weighting over 10 tons.  It inhabited the northern region of North America.  Some experts don’t actually believe the Imperial Mammoth existed.  The Steppe Mammoth is the most complicated of all mammoths.  Experts agree that it evolved from the southern mammoth, and spread throughout North America too.  But there are those who believe that the Columbian and Imperial Mammoth is the same animal – the North American Steppe Mammoth.
